Lead the strategic sourcing organization to be recognized within Company and the industry as a dynamic leader of world class procurement practices by providing outstanding decision support and process reengineering that will result in significantly increased productivity, revenue opportunities, and year-over–year reductions in the total cost of goods and services.

DIMENSIONS
Aggressively manage the strategic sourcing process leveraging Company’s total buy and produce measurable bottom-line savings. Drive year-over-year savings from $1 billion + in operational resource expenditure. Maximize organizational effectiveness through enterprise technology solutions and strategic management of operational resources. Mitigate risk associated with third party providers of goods and services.

COMPANY STRATEGIC ELEMENTS/OBJECTIVES
Drive cultural change within Company to aggressively manage operational resources. Provide and realize the vision of Corporate Sourcing to be a top quartile performer utilizing world-class technology and solutions. Create a future vision, with executive consensus, that recognizes and promotes the purchasing / sourcing/ supply-based contribution to competitiveness, and that guides Company’s behavior towards achieving world-class status. Develop strategic alliances with customers and suppliers to maximize operating efficiency and profitability. Execute strategic sourcing process that leverages company-wide economies of scale. Create an intelligent business able to access real-time operational information from sources throughout the extended enterprise, identify negative trends and swiftly trigger process improvement teams across Company, and monitor and project supply trends over time using strategic economic analysis. Develop a strategic planning process that promotes integrative strategy development and encourages the efficient use of limited corporate resources to achieve specific company-wide performance goals.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDING SUPERVISORY)
20 Sourcing professionals within span of control: Sourcing Strategy and Portfolio Management, Contract Administration, Asset Management, Corporate Real Estate Transaction Team, Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprise Program, Corporate Travel Group, Conference Center and Food Services Group, Technology Strategy and Operations, Finance, Communications and Project Management. Significant outsource partnership alliances under direct control include Travel Administration, Warehousing and Forms Management, Copy Center and Food Services.

DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY
Strategic Direction of Department, commit Company in preferred and single sourcing arrangements. Execute contracts for corporate-wide goods and services. Define sourcing strategies. Company travel policy and administration.

CONTACTS WITHIN/OUTSIDE THE COMPANY
Company Management Committee, Executive Counsel and senior executives of suppliers / customers.
