The VP of Human Capital will support mission of the organization to ensure human capital

engagement with Better Service, Better Quality and Better Results for our patients/residents.

As a member of the Executive Team, the VP of Human Capital will work closely with the CEO, CFO

and the leadership teams in order to execute human capital strategies for growth, innovation and best practices. Strong emphasis will be on establishing a culture of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and support of our client brand as an Employer of Choice.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with operations leadership to support strategic operational and human capital programs.
  • Directly manage a team of HR professionals and other positions as needed.
  • Develops robust talent acquisition and onboarding functions to align clinician capacity with demand for care. Oversees recruitment, onboarding, retention activities.
  • Collaborates with finance to manage compensation, payroll and benefit programs.
  • Design and oversee performance management programs and initiatives with department leaders to achieve maximum effectiveness of the organization.
  • Lead succession planning and professional development.
  • Oversee Education and Development functions that encourages clinicians to stay and grow with the organization.
  • Maintain a comprehensive employee handbook and relevant policy and procedures.
  • Support safety and compliance initiatives to ensure consistency across the Advantage companies.
  • Develop Key Performance Indicators to monitor and enhance the company’s overall performance.
  • Deliver quantitative and qualitative reports to Executive Leadership Team and/or Board of Directors as needed.
  • Manage outsourced vendor relationships and contractors as needed.
  • Other duties as requested.

Qualifications:

15+ yrs. relevant human resources experience within healthcare service industry

10+ yrs leadership experience

Professional demeanor and ability to connect with all individuals within the organization.

Strong communication skills to over-communicate with others to build and maintain trust and also to

deliver on expectations.

Ability to prepare and conduct professional presentations required.

Quick thinker and decision maker that is capable of managing competing demands through

prioritizing and delegating.

Ability to analyze financial information/data in order to make solid decisions.

Desire to develop others.

Intellectual curiosity and courage.

HR Certification Preferred- SHRM-SCP or HRCI SPHR

Master’s degree strongly preferred.

Experience employing licensed professionals.

Healthcare experience in home health and/or contract rehab services preferred.
